Hello On the French forum, we doubt the criteria for identifying Terellia and Orellia. Thank you in advance for the criteria. In general, my division (Korneyev 1985) based on genital characters has been accepted in the HBook for ID British Insects (White 1988), Insecta Helvetica (Merz 1994) and Nederlandse boorvliegen (Smit 2010), the most comprehensive European keys to fruit fly species. Orellia possesses 2 shining black spots on the transverse suture of the mesonotum and long lobe of the cubital cell, Chaetostomella and Chaetorellia have unpaired black spot on the tip of the scutellum (as on your last picture) Terellia (incl. Cerajocera) has none of those characters (and apparently is a paraphyletic aggregation). So, the first species is Terellia (Cerajocera) tussilaginis and the second is Chaetostomella cylindrica.
