Found three of these flies on the summit of a mountain at 625 meters above sealevel. Photos from 06.07.2011, Bodø, northern Norway. Could it be Cephenemyia trompe? There are some reindeer in the area I found them. Have looked at photos of Cephenemyia species (trompe, ulrichii and stimulator) but can't see any difference in appearance... Could collect if it's needed for confirmation? I think I will go to the same place again before the end of July, seems like an interesting place to look for insects. |
