At first I thought it might be Bombylella atra with no white hairs, but I seriously doubt that is the case. The wings don't seem to match either. Help, please!!

I once saw one of these at the top of Foia, Monchique, Portugal. Although i failed to catch it so cannot be certain, i concluded it was probably Bombylius fuscus.

I am astonished that I cannot find pictures of Bombylius fuscus in the Internet. I guess it might be an interesting picture to submit to the gallery.

The species exits in Spain, which adds to the identification.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
