Hi, This Syrphid I saw in Austria, Tyrol, Ellmau (820 m) in August 2009. It resembles a Xylota, but it can't be X. segnis (the only species I know). The hind femora bear no row of small spines but only a big one. Experts' help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: [105.81Kb] Edited by Sundew on 01-06-2011 22:27 |
