Hello, is it possible to further identify this fly? The idea came up, that it could be a Lasiomma sp. I found it resting on a wooden pole on February, 28th (Germany, Mainz). At first sight it looks indeed Lasiomma, but i think we have here the first Egle species from this year.... Need better view to see what Egle species it could be. Joke Edited by javanerkelens on 04-03-2011 14:02 |

On the last photo we can see the palps are equally long as haustellum, so most likely Egle ciliata. Joke |
