Hi,
I will apreciate if someone could help me with the identification of the specimenes of the attached pictures (sorry for the quality). They were all captured in flowers of Mediterranean species in the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands, if that can help.
Thank you very much for your attention and help.
Best regards,
Ana Montero

Hi Ana,

Welcome to the Forum!

If you are having a problem with attaching the pictures it may be that the file is too big (195KB) or the file name contains non-alphanumeric characters or spaces. Also, using 'preview' removes the attachment and you have to put it back in. See FAQs for more help.

It is good practice to start a new thread for each fly, but if you have two images of the same individual you can add the second by replying to your first post.

Good luck!

Stephen.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
