Ruud - the legs are normal-sized. It's just got a very small head, body and wings!

Can only find one picture of a live Uranotaenia - see http://www.fehd.g...dalei.html. Apparently they seldom feed on people, but seem to manage very well on amphibians, birds and small mammals. Tony ---------- Tony Irwin |
