This reminds me of a Sapromyza I've got in the archive. Could it be the same? Photographed in thick vegetation alongside a small stream near Rome, Italy. About 5 mm long. ![]() Thanks, Sarah. |

I think this is one of the Muscidae. Was it Phaonia pallida?
