Possibly Mallophora tibialis - an inspired guess based on a few identifications that Eric gave me for my French Guianan asilids Smile

Yes, Mallophora tibialis; one of the great robber flies that mimic orchid bees (Eulaema) in the Neotropics. Please add to the gallery if possible.
