It is difficult to be certain, because there is no detail visible other than some wing venation. From the wing venataion it is clear that it is a calyptrate fly. One of the few that are often active in winter and may come indoors is Pollenia rudis. You may check pictures on the web and see if it fits what you find indoors. The most striking character for Pollenia is the presence of short, curly hairs on the thorax. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul Thank you Paul.
