Small mantid (about 10mm) found last May in Portugal. No idea of the genus. Notice the eggs (?) at the tip of the abdomen. Thanks, Joaquim Alvesgaspar attached the following image: [90.44Kb] |

Dear Joaquim I have no idea what species is it, but to me it seems more like a young instar with the remains of a moulted skin at the tip. The size is too small for an adult and I cannot see any well developed wingsheaths, so it must be a nymphal stage. |
