Hi all, just returned from an early autumn visit to the Eastern Aegean island of Kos. While photographing butterflies on the scrubby margins of the Tingaki saltpans I saw this distinctive beefly. None of my literature mentions it so I hope that someone on this forum may be able to identify it for me. Taken on the 11th September. Unsure of size but approx body length is 15mm. TIA. Steve. Perhaps it would be easier to look at it on my Flickr photostream here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/od0man/5010752719/ Cheers, Steve. This mail is a natural product. And did you make certain there are no spaces in the file name...?

That's brilliant Paul, many thanks. Super little bee-fly isn't it? The file name has no gaps so not sure what I'm doing wrong. But not to worry, you've been able to provide a determination, which is the main thing. Again many thanks, Steve. This mail is a natural product. If you want to know what went wrong, send me the file by email and I'll check it out.
