Hi,

i saw this fly yesterday in the belgian dunes and I would like to know its ID.
I tried to key out (with Faune de france), but I think I failed somewhere...

I ended up with Parectocephala longicornis every time...

Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks!

Jonas

Well, family, Chloropidae, for sure is good. I hope a Chloropid specialist may say something more about correct genus and species.

According to the key of Revier and van der Goot this species has neither been recorded from the Netherlands. But possibily Paul has more up-to-date information about it.

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
