ok then this is allso Scaeva selenitica male. What is not totaly clear to me is brown facial part.You have in galey image where that part is almost totaly white: http://www.dipter...to_id=5022. Is this a variation inside species ? There is no brown facial part, just some dense brown pilosity on frons.
