Phaonia female looks for a nice name

hello flyforum, As far as I know this is a female Phaonia sp. (and read other topic: http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=3226) This one got also some pale antennal segments (valida..), but also the cross-veins heavily infuscated (valida not..) Hi Robert I think this one is also valida female. Her cross-veins are slightly darkened, but not as much as they would be in tuguriorum. The front tibia also lacks posterior bristles which would be present in scutellata and tuguriorum. Tony ---------- Tony Irwin |
