Hmm, vein R4+5 is much too straight for that species. Legs almost entirely yellow, but all tarsae entirely black: Parasyrphus nigritarsis. Nice find! Wonder whether this species is known from Spain... |

Menno is right! Again I fooled myself by the date, which is rather late for this species (but then again: the Pyrenees..). So I put the lack of the sinuate vein on a croppingmistake of the picture. I only have males in my collection.. Didn't see the black tarsae. Pffff... My blunder, grrrrr... |

No, it was my fault because at first i was mistake and wrote "dry land" instead "pyrennees", wich i have edited... Thanks |
