If it is from Moscow region, it can only be Atylotus rusticus. Great pictures ! By the way, feeding on flowers in quite uncommon in Tabanidae, however, less rare in the genus Atylotus. Theo Zeegers |

Thanks a lot Theo - it was rather indifferent and allowed me to pick itself and place on another inflorescence for better view - maybe it felt somewhat unnatural, the clouds being dispersed over Moscow because of a holiday called the Day of the City here - the rain started to fall only 4p.m. on Sunday. |
