Found this one on my front door this morning so captured it for a few photo's before releasing.
Size 11-12 mm. Anyone confirm.

Sure, it is a female "whitefood". Love your your second image showing the typical distribution of macrotricha in first basal cell of wing.

Thanks for the positive ID xylo, and for the comment regarding the wing. I only inserted that image after seeing your comments made in another thread..http://www.dipter...ost_144354..by peterbolson and thought the view would be helpful.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
