Help with (Syrphidea?) ID please

Hi, could anyone help identify this insect please, the nearest I've found in the gallery is Syrphidea (Syritta pipiens). Looks like Syritta pipiens to me It's an incredibly common hoverfly.

I guessed that from the number of photos in the gallery (do you have a cap on the number in the gallery? Is there any merit in submitting others views/angles?) I really must start searching from p 27 and work forwards, it would save me ages! Thanks Chris |
