 Yesterday i shot this one, a 3-4 mm long fly.

50 km south of Paris, France.

 I can imagine your doubt.

looks like a Sarcophagidae to me, something like Oebalia or Amobia (vittae on thorax suggest Amobia, but I don't see a row of proclinate frontal setae....)
