Hello!

Three Muscids (?) from our garden (August-29, Ostwestfalen/Germany). All were about 7-8 mm long (the shiny black one maybe a little bit smaller). Is it possible to tell the genera (second and third possibly same)? Thanks in advance!

That was the other possibility... Cool (and the reason for my '?' ).
Best regards,
Jürgen

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol
