Found in the garden on Ribes Bush. Next to where it landed a small caterpillar was dodging in and out of the leaf which it had curled around itself. When the fly got too close it would disappear into the fold in the leaf.....how SAD am I to sit and watch that for entertainment for 10 minutes...on a scale of 1-10....about a 9.. Wink

I think Stephane talked rubbish for this one : there are too much p. setae on fore tibia for M. aenescens. I think it is Morellia hortorum.

WHAT ! A Frenchman talking rubbish and admitting it...a new concept Wink It must have been picked up off me Stephane....( well the talking rubbish bit anyway)...oh shit, I've just admitted it too....I'm working on it....Frown
