From woodland ride. 9mm long. Shiny black scutum, eyes bare, aristae barely plumose, fore femur toothed & notched at apex, halteres black, 3 prescut ac. I'd be grateful for an expert opinion. Thanks Peter peterbolson attached the following image: [84.53Kb] |

I would rather say Hydrotaea dentipes : M slightly curved apically and mid tibia with long hairs ventrally.
