Must be a Dasysyrphus species. As far as I know no other syrphine larva has these long projections on the anal segment. But in this larva, the lateral projections are considerably longer than illustrated for some species of the genus. Perhaps it's a species of which the larva is not yet described. Always fun to try to rear it! |
