Very strange, very big 9-10 mm, it keyed out as Heleomyzidae, but I am not really sure. Tenerife, Anaga mts, Las Mercedes, 25.II.-25.III. 2010, Beer trap

Suillia sp. It is a female but very interesting for taxonomic studies.

In the checklist of Canary Islands are only 2 species:
Suillia oceana (Palma, Gomera, Tenerife, GC)
Suillia setitarsis (Hierro, Palma, Gomera, Tenerife, GC)
but I have no clue how do they look like... You do?
