I also encounter these odd-looking representatives of Ceratopogonidae (Forcipomyia?) in a daily flooded marsh along the freshwaterpart of the Schelde estuary in Belgium.

The second larva looks like Pericoma for me.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
