c.3.5mm Clitheroe 9 March 2010, on the same wall as in http://www.dipter...d_id=28515 From the photos the key took me to Campsicnemus (female), and with a bit of imagination I went on towards C. curvipes (relatively large, guessing the fore coxa is black under the dusting like the basal part of the femur), but I guess sp. is the real answer (if I am right about the genus). The shiny patches on the head were noticeable from most angles.
