Hello fly people. Anyone got a description of the genus Sarcophaga? I'm collecting flesh flies from dead snails in ricelands..

If you prefer to identify Sarcophaga yourself, then you can check some literature at: http://www.zmuc.dk/entoweb/sarcoweb/sarcweb/Sarc_web.htm and select Flesh fly bibliography. There are a few publications about Sarcophagidae from Philippines. Otherwise you may send specimens for identification to Thomas Pape or to me. Good luck.
