This one was walking in the kitchen. Genarum group?

Difficult to see, but yes, I do see your point, it seems genarum.

This is a small and atypical Calliphora (in most cases)

Nice and artistic photo!

C. genarum should have only short pubescens on the arista. Judging from black ground color of the face and the long antennae, I would suggest a female loewi. Not many other options, as stelviana is not this silverish.

In which case the calyptra is really partly dark and we are not looking at a shadow. You are right that it should be, since genarum it cannot be.
