Chironomidae larvae, but the pictures are too poor in quality to even tell the subfamily, sorry. For a positive identification of Chironomidae larvae it is often necessary to study the mouthparts (how many teeth, are there paralabial plates, etc).

Well, thank You, I think I go back there in spring and collect later instar larvae, because these are to small for my microscope (about 2 mms, but really thin).

I think there will be lot of interesting larvae in this mountainbrook.
