July 23, 2006. Two specimens of identical size (11mm) were collected (not without some swinging of my net) around 5.30 p.m. on an earth road at the edge of our park near the Nara river. These are my first decent Bombyliidae images. Dmitry Gavryushin attached the following image:  [173.83Kb] |
