Hello,

this nice tachinidae is from july from a roadside in southern germany. Lenght was about 6mm. What genus or species is it?

Hello Michael,

My first guess would be Meigenia sp. In general, lateral views are much more informative with tachinids.

thank you for your answers. The fly isn't for publishing, just for my own photo collection. So uncertainity is ok. I overlooked my holyday pictures again, but there is no lateral view.
