Hi! I think, this 6-7 mm fly from two days ago at a tree (northwest Germany) is no Muscid (?). In female of Hylemya it is very difficult to separate H.vagans from H. nigrimana (both hind and mid femora yellow) So I think many photo ID of female H.vagans, are maybe H.nigrinana and vice versa ![]() Joke |
