If You're not sure, if something is a fly or not, look at -if it has 2 wings - the second wingpair is represented by the so-called halteres -a rather short antenna, like this one, or a long antenna with identical many segments - many hairs at most cases (unlike for example Heteroptera, parasitic wasps, etc) |

Thanks for your information and identification. I like to shoot the critters, but my knowledge is very limited. I figured it could be a fly, but was not sure because I had not seen before. Greetings |
