I know this is a bit of a long-shot but I have a small Phasia (~4-5mm) with very characteristically darkened wings from Galicia, Spain. The wings are not pattered but uniformly darkened, which makes me think that it might be quite a distinctive feature. The thorax is undusted and the abdomen has some dusting on T3-5. I tentatively keyed it to P.pandellei but I am not very convinced. I have this photo but if any more are needed I can take them ChrisR attached the following image: [52.84Kb] Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London. |
