Does anyone have a list of the various unit-tray size standards and which museums have taken them up?

I have been doing some measuring of unit-trays that I have been given by a few museums and there seem to be at least 3 groups in the UK:

Cardiff/NHM-1? - 82mm wide, 32mm high
Cardiff/NHM-2? - 85mm wide, 34mm high
Oxford - 91mm wide, 39mm high

Smile

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
