but not tringarius? it seems for me similar (gallery) but not enough? the dark parts do not show the same form . . . . Not tringarous, because the wing is not mostly plain. Probably scolopaceus, which is larger and also has spotted wing. Others need to confirm this though.

WEll, I can't exclude strigosus and the date would favour strigosus. Can we get a blowup of the head (lateral) ? to see the antenna ? Theo |

2 pic : this one was sitting on potato leaves - and for me it seems, that the wings have no dark field like on first pics - maybe that helps? or is it another one and more complex? the darker one - I saw just now - was near the potatos, but on other plant Thank you for your help Regards. Thanks SO the first one definitely is scolopaeus, rather late in the year. The second one is a female tringarius, with the stigma yellow and no dark markings as well noted. Theo |
