Joke van Erkelens wrote on the forum of waarneming.nl that this fly is propably a Thaumatomyia sp. So I searched through this family and now I think it's propably Thaumatomyia notata. Unfortunately there are look-alikes. To make a quite certain species guess (more isn't possible), one must see the width of the cheek below the eyes, i.e. a lateral shot is necessary. Regards, Sundew |
