Thanks much for the reply. I only have shot one member of this family before, Coenomyia ferruginea. I don't have the image before me now, but could it be that? It was also in a SW suburb of chicago, a few miles away and about 10 days earlier last year. Naturally I would prefer it to be Dialysis which would be a new species, but curious as to the likelihood. |
