I'll need a dorsal view to evaluate the thorax chaetotaxy, but at first glance it looks like Helina depuncta.

Hm, this is the only picture I got before it took off. Generally speaking, what is the best angle to shoot at for id purpose? |

A view like this is generally more helpull than a pure dorsal / profile view, at least for calyptrate flies, because we can see in only one picture the bristles on thorax, on legs and on frons. Anyway, only one shot is rarely enough for most flies.
