The general appearance reminds me of some dexiines, such as Estheria cristata. They look superficially like a sarcophagid with that highly chequered dusting on the abdomen. Can you tell us if it has a plumose arista? Can you also get a better picture of the side of the head - especially the facial ridges and vibrissae? Thanks, Chris R. |
