Hi, Today I saw several flies of probably the same Agromyzid species sitting on a Valeriana officinalis plant. Can they receive a name? Many thanks, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: [164.13Kb] |

Well, I often see these little ones - some have a yellow scutellum, some have a grey one, but all have this yellow/grey overall appearance and yellow "knees". So obviously all belong to Phytomyza and cannot be identified as to species. Therefore I'll stop photographing them. Many thanks to both of you, Sundew |
