Hello! A 6 mm fly on Anthriscus sylvestris near forest (northwest Germany). I'm not sure, whether it is a Calliphorid or perhaps a Tachinid. Hello, Tony! Tony Irwin wrote: Epicampocera succincta ? Thanks! That was my first thought, too, but then I rejected it. They are frequent here on umbellifers, but I only found them in midsummer, yet. According to my records findings date from end of June to early September. Hello, Theo! Zeegers wrote: Epicampocera has two generations yearly, so that explains the lot. Ah, thanks! So the first generation seems to be much smaller here.
