 this one was at the side of a puddle.

any chance to get an ID and to know what it was doing there ? drinking water, ... ?

 Parydra (Ephydridae), and it's probably feeding on diatoms.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
