Hi, Some days ago I was in a woodland crossed by a brook and photographed a tiny insect that I thought to be a black wasp. The magnified photo on the screen revealed, however, a Syrphid. Hi, This is a very beautiful Neoascia meticulosa (formaly aenea) points to look at: 1) no spots and a male 2) almost yellow tibia and tars 1 & 2 cheers, Regards, Bastiaan www.syrphidae.com |
