Otitez kowarzi Loew, quite a rare fly, endemic for south west of Romania. As I reacall? Elena has a few specimens from other balcan localities for her forthcoming Otites revision.

thank you very much for your ID. i didn't catch the fly i tried first to take photos and after that it flied, but i will look this days again after it on that valley and if you want send you a specimen. Amalia |
