Looks like a Syrphid but am not quite sure. The position of the wings, the funny looking antennae and the tuft of white hairs in the leg are unusual for me. Found last weekend in Portugal, near the sea. Thanks, Joaquim Alvesgaspar attached the following image: [154.03Kb] |
