On 2 dec 08 in Mallorca (Majorca) I found this syrphid male, which I could identify with Van Veen's key for NW Europe. I presume it is a Chrysotoxum, though it has hairy humeri, whcih Syrphini aren't supposed to have. Any suggestions as to what species it could be? (It was temporarily stored in alcohol.)
