Is this picture really from Japan ? It reminds me of Eophyllophyla, which is however apparently a strictly oriental genus. Difficult to tell. If you have collected the specimen, I could try to say more. Theo Zeegers |

In that case I would place the species most likely in the tribe Blondeliini in the family Tachinidae. For me, that is as far as I can help you. Theo Zeegers |
