Here I am, this time not with one of my photos, but one taken by a dear friend of mine, Marcello Romano, in Sicily. It looks to both of us like a species of Phasia, would we be right? If so, is it possibile to arrive at a species?  Thanks, Sarah |

Looks like an (Ecto?)phasia sp. - but not sure which one in that part of the world

I posted an answer to this, but it looks as if it didn't get through  . Ectophasia crassipennis is indicated in Marcello's region, so I think it's probably spot on. Thanks everyone. |

Nearly right. It is a male of Ectophasia leucoptera. The black spot on the abdomen broadens in a characteristic way. It is (more or less) linear in other Ectophasia Congratulations with the nice picture Theo Zeegers |
